A wilderness stay on forty private acres at 8,200 feet, for couples, small groups, retreats, and weddings in the San Bernardino mountains above Big Bear, California.
Events & Retreats
Buy out all forty acres for your offsite, retreat or training, with the gate closed behind your group. The Lodge seats and sleeps everyone under one roof, with the great room, a full kitchen and the whole property for the work that happens outside. Groups arrive from Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego by car, not by plane.

Lodging
Stay in the Lodge or in one of the four private cabins in the pines, each with its own covered porch. Wood-burning fireplaces inside, Cienaga Creek running below and the Pacific Crest Trail at the door. Nightly stays open up between programmed gatherings, so ask about the dates you have in mind.

Weddings
Marry under the pines beside Cienaga Creek with up to 200 guests, and up to 40 of them sleeping on site. Ceremony on the lawn, dinner outdoors as the light goes gold across the ridge, dancing under the stars. Four seasons, one property, and your people together for the whole weekend.

About Sunstone
Forty acres. 8,200 feet. One gate.
Sunstone is a premium mountain center for wellness, personal growth, celebration and gathering, bordered by the San Bernardino National Forest. The Pacific Crest Trail crosses the land and Cienaga Creek runs through the middle of it, so a world-class hike begins at your cabin door rather than a two-hour drive away.
It is a four-season property. Snow-deep winters by the fire, long green summers with the creek running, spring meadow and autumn gold. And it is a drive, not a flight, from Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego.
Twenty years of weddings and gatherings have happened on this land. It was built to hold what a ballroom never could: a whole group, for several days, with the gate shut behind them.
